Kagoshima sweet potato ice cream and sushi

Sweet potato ice cream was a pleasant surprise while walking around Kagoshima. It was tucked to the side of a mall, and seemed to be popular among the locals.

On the way there with the hotel shuttle.

And then to sushi afterwards at Ichibashokudo Jonan .

Fresh fish.

The only downside was that there was a smoking section allowed, but the taste of the fish was fresh and at a great price.
