The last restaurant we ate for Kagoshima was Zabon Ramen.
A cute diner-like interior, and the ramen was fulfilling and set at a good price.

Sweet potato ice cream was a pleasant surprise while walking around Kagoshima. It was tucked to the side of a mall, and seemed to be popular among the locals.
On the way there with the hotel shuttle.
And then to sushi afterwards at Ichibashokudo Jonan .

My travel partner also loves eel aside from dango, and so our next restaurant of course specializes in eel: Satsuma Jokiya Kagashi Yokocho.

My travel companion loves dango- so much so that she once flew to Japan from S. Korea just to eat it. I've never heard of a more baller move since then.

I'm not so much a fan of souffle pancakes, but usually when traveling to Japan someone in the group surely is a fan. And Gram's is a pretty reliable place for a decent souffle pancake.
